Tan Sin Mui

Tan Sin Mui has over 17 years' experience as an equity analyst, specialising in the banking sector.
She was rated the No. 1 Singapore banks analyst for five years running, and has been among the
top three Singapore analysts for the last three years.
Prior to joining NewSmith Capital Partners, she worked at Merrill Lynch, where she headed the
highly rated Singapore and Malaysia research teams.
She joined Smith New Court (subsequently acquired by Merrill Lynch) in 1994, from UBS Securities
in Singapore, where she had been Head of Research. As well as banks, she has also covered the
marine, consumer and property sectors. Sin Mui holds a BBA from National University of Singapore
and obtained her CFA in 1991.
