Jun Miyazaki

Jun Miyazaki, who heads NewSmith's Tokyo office, has more than 30 years' experience of the
Japanese and international financial services industry.
Prior to joining NewSmith, Jun was Chief Executive Officer of Gartmore Investment Japan Limited.
He has served in senior positions at a number of firms including CSFB, where he was Managing
Director and Head of Japanese Equity Product; Schroders Securities Japan, where he was Director
and Branch Manager and Smith New Court, where he ran Japanese operations for five years.
Jun began his career in 1975 as a fund manager and research analyst at Daido Mutual Life Insurance
Co. He graduated from Waseda University with a Bachelor of
Economics in 1975.
