Hisao Kurokawa is an analyst on NewSmith's Japanese equity strategy.
Before joining NewSmith, he worked at Aim Investment Corp in Tokyo, where he focused on the
manufacturing sector, with a special emphasis on patent analysis. He began his financial services
career as an equity analyst at Diamond Financial Research in 2005. He has also worked in industry
(Nippon Steel) and as a teacher of Physics and Mathematics.
Hisao has a BS in Metal Process Engineering from Tohoku University.
