Bob Wong
Business Development & Operations Director, Asia
Bob Wong works in NewSmith’s Singapore office and is responsible for business development
and operations oversight. He has nearly 15 years’ experience in the securities industry.
Before joining NewSmith, Bob was regional Co-Chief Administrative Officer for Merrill Lynch,
Asia-Pacific Region, and a member of the regional Executive Committee.
He qualified as a UK Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen in 1990, and first started
working in the securities industry with Morgan Stanley in 1993. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1995.
Bob graduated from Imperial College, London University with a B Eng in Electrical Engineering.
