Ben Squire
Credit Research, London
Ben Squire is responsible for credit research within NewSmith Asset Management. He has over
10 years' experience in the financial markets, in both investment banking and investment
management roles.
Before joining NewSmith, Ben worked for BT Financial Group Limited (formerly Rothschild
Australia Asset Management Limited) where he was responsible for portfolio management and
credit research. Prior to BT, he was an Associate Director of UBS Warburg, where he was
responsible for managing credit exposures across a portfolio of companies, spanning both
investment grade and non-investment grade credits. He also spent four years as a credit analyst
at Bankers Trust Australia Limited.
Ben holds a BComm (hons) and a BSc in Mathematics, both from the University of Melbourne.
