NewSmith Capital Partners, with the University of Colorado Foundation, today opens the Endowment Forum for Chief Investment Officers at Boulder, Colorado.
Over two dozen CIOs, controlling almost $200 billion of assets, will meet at the private, two-day forum, now in its third year. The Forum is an exclusive and private meeting that offers invited guests and CIOs the opportunity to exchange views with their peers on key issues affecting the investment management industry.
Guest speakers this year will include Rick Lannamann, Vice Chairman of Executive Search firm Spencer Stuart, Michael Walsh, Executive Vice President of the Chicago Climate Exchange and Brooks Zug, Senior Managing Director and Founder of private equity investor HarbourVest Partners.
Chris Bittman, CIO at the University of Colorado Foundation, said, “The Forum is a unique gathering of investment professionals in one of the fastest growing sectors of the asset management industry. We are looking forward to a highly stimulating discussion.”
NewSmith Partner Sue Crosby said, “On behalf of NewSmith, I am pleased to welcome our CIO relationships and clients to this event. The Forum is a valuable private networking opportunity for the industry, and we are delighted to be hosting such a distinguished and important gathering.”
